I can’t believe it’s already June!
Only 6 months until Christmas!!
I know, I know!!!
Been working on the summer front porch and wanted to show you some progress!
Although I love wreaths, I wanted something “different” for the front doors.
I found these metal “hangers” at the thrift store and thought they just might work!
I took some florist foam, cut it in half and hot glued it to the inside of the “container”.
In full honesty, this is my first arrangement…….
Although it was “OK”…….I kept feeling like it was something you would see at a funeral!!!
So, I took a trip to Michael’s and found some flowers with more of a “modern touch” that were 50% off……
Much better!!!!
I simply threaded a white burlap ribbon through the back and tied a bow at the top of the wreath hanger!
I’m really starting to embrace this red, white and blue theme for summer! All I need to do for Independence Day is add a couple of flags!
There’s more to come……..been painting, making pillows and gathering more “fun things”!!!

I was at an estate sale today and I found the same metal hangers you used for $1 each! I was so excited I snagged them up right away. I will post a picture of the final product soon. Thank you for the wonderful idea!!!
I truly just ‘love’ your baskets for your front doors. I so want the very exact same. I really do. I have been thinking about how sick I am of have a wreath on my front door that just does not work for me. I have the oval glass insert in my front door also and it never looks right to me. I think those baskets and the arrangement is so perfect. I want one too!
