It was Easter Sunday…….
My daughter asked if she could bring a new salad she discovered and I quickly replied “of course”!
SNICKER CARAMEL APPLE SALAD
Needless to say………..
I pretty much ate the whole bowl by myself!
It’s addicting!!
Ingredients:
3-4 Large Granny Smith Apples
1 12 oz. container Cool Whip
1 5oz pkg. instant vanilla pudding OR 1 5oz. pkg. instant butterscotch pudding
6 2-1/4oz. Snicker candy bars, chilled
Mix the Cool Whip and instant pudding (do not make the pudding, leave it dry) in a large bowl. Peel and dice apples and add to mixture. Chop Snicker bars into bite size pieces and add. Mix well and refrigerate for approx. 1 hour. (This allows the dry pudding mix to breakdown in the Cool Whip and not be grainy).
If you’d like to garnish, you can drizzle with caramel syrup and peanuts!!
THAT’S IT!!
I’m telling you, this is so different but so good!
I personally do not like Snicker bars on their own, but, like I said, I ate almost the whole bowl by myself!!
This is great as a sweet salad or even as a dessert!!
Thank you, my sweet baby girl…….
……isn’t she beautiful?!…..I’m a little biased.
I must give “kuddos” to her for turning her mother into a Snicker Caramel Apple Salad addict!
She also has been my rock star and “design” guru behind this blog! Without her, I’d still be sitting here twiddling my thumbs!
Thank you, sweetie.
BTW….she also has an awesome website at NicoleJoyDesign and dabbles in web design work! Just sayin!!
Let us know what you think of this salad/dessert and whether you’ve become addicted as well!
Until next time……….

Summer Inspiration Recipes with Thistlewood Farms
WOW, Angela! You are killing me here! LOL I have a terrible sweet tooth and this recipe sounds amazing! Thanks to your daughter for sharing it!
It’s so funny that you posted this. A couple of weeks ago my MIL called and asked me if I knew this recipe. She had eaten it at a party about 12 years ago and loved it. She mentioned apples, Snickers, etc. so I googled and found the recipe. She made it and took it to her Life Group at church. Now I have to make it too! Sounds like it would be so good all cold and sweet in the summer time.
This looks awesome! Thanks for linking up at the Summer Inspiration Link Party!!
This sounds perfect for taking to a BBQ!
I would be honored to have you hop over and share with us at Tip Me Tuesday {https://www.tipjunkie.com/post/no-bake-recipes-add-yours/}
