Do you have a coffee station?
I used to have a nice little coffee station set up in my kitchen……
but I moved it!
TO MY BEDROOM!
Call me crazy…….
call me lazy……….
or, call me brilliant!
I do not like to get out of bed in the morning, walk to the kitchen and pour my coffee! (crazy)
Now, my dear husband gets up, turns the coffee on and I get to lay in bed and slowly wake up to the wonderful smell of fresh coffee brewing! (lazy)
Heaven!!
Then, when he leaves for work, he pours me a “cup of joe” and I enjoy that first “cuppa” laying in bed either watching the morning news or surfing the net!! (brilliant)
This is livin, people!!!!!!
My coffee station table was looking a little boring…….
so I gave her a little “face lift”
STRIPES!!! (Horizontal, of course!)
Leftover Annie Sloan paint in Linen and Old Ochre followed by one coat of clear wax, one coat of dark wax and one top coat of clear wax again!
I finished with a light sanding to bring it all together!
Our little station has everything we need!
Coffee is stored in the cannister……
….and, of course, CUPS!!!
I store extra mugs and coffee filters in the drawer. You could also store sugar, creamer, and spoons. Hubby and I are “drink it black” people, so, we don’t need any of that.
As a little “bonus”, I love to keep a crystal biscuit jar filled with our favorite “treats”!
Hubby likes to “sneak” a treat at bedtime (or 2 or 3!)
I love a good chocolate bar in the morning with my dark roasted coffee!!
YUMMY!!
There ya go!!
Don’t worry about company……
I still have the Keurig set up in the kitchen for any dinner guests or friends that come over!
PLUS, all my guest rooms have their own coffee stations!
They really love being able to make their own coffee and relax before coming down to start their day!
I’ll share that in another post!!
Until next time……

Ha! If I had a coffee station in my bedroom….I’d never get up before noon!!
Brilliant! And how wonderful that your guests have their own special coffee station as well. Off to look for a nook so I can move mine to the bedroom.
How wonderful….I love, love coffee…I drink a pot of it a day..I know…
I have a coffee station in my butler’s pantry…I program it to brew at 6 a.m so I can smell it when I get up…I am the only coffee drinker in this house, so I have to get up and get my own!…so wonderful to have yours brought to you!!!…Great idea to have it in your bedroom…Have a great weekend!!

You my friend are my coffee idol. I need to do this too. I LOVE coffee! Yesterday morning I ran into the kitchen wall getting it, no lie, Mike laughed so hard at me:)
This is so fun Angela and I bet you love waking to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. It is like you are waking in a bed and breakfast. Brilliant idea.

That is such a cute idea, Angela. I love how cute and convenient it is ! Brilliant- I say – Brilliant- xo Diana
OMG Angela I just about spit my coffee out….This is brilliant my dear
But, if I did this in our house I’d for sure be called crazy. I am the only coffee drinker in this home. I stumble out of bed and right to the coffee pot!!
This is like having your own personal hotel suite. I love this idea. Hugs, Marty
I love that you have coffee in all the bedrooms! We moved into a house with a master on the main so coffee is just a few steps away, otherwise I’d do just what you did!
xo
You are soooo spoiled! lol. Why didn’t you tell me your guest rooms had their own coffee stations? I might have changed my mind about heading to the convention in San Antonio and paid a visit!
LOVE it!!! So stinkin’ cute and a great idea!!
Love how you solved the morning trip to the coffee pot by bringing it to you. I’m new to coffee, and have only developed a taste for it in the past 3 years. My husband brings it to my bedside chest…retirement is great!
