heaven!!!
Plus, today she’s having a link party where you can link up your own home so, I decided to join in on the fun!
Welcome! My name is Angela and Twelve Oaks Manor is my passion! After traveling around the world for 20+ years with my husband, who is now retired from the military, we have settled in San Antonio, Texas. We love it here but do miss our Northwest roots! Originally from Oregon, living in Texas is quite a difference, but we’ve come to love it and enjoy sharing it with you!
Welcome to Twelve Oaks Manor!
Front Porch
I’ve always dreamed of having a big front porch with rocking chairs and enough room to breath. Well, my dreams were answered….
Let’s head inside!
Foyer
To the left is our dining room! Many heirlooms fill this room. I just wish it was used more than a couple of times a year. Still, I enjoy the memories we have made there!
If we continue on through the foyer, we reach the living room.
As we continue on to our left, we will find the eating area and kitchen….the heart of our home!
Right off the kitchen is the laundry room……
We round out the first floor with the master bedroom…..
……..and bath
As we head upstairs, we will find the game room which has hosted many family occasions, movie nights and a hot game of cards!
We round out the upstairs with our main guest room. There are two more additional bedrooms which are ‘under construction’! Keep checking back to see their transformations!
We finish up our tour with our favorite room of the whole house which is actually outside in the backyard! With our tropical climate here in deep Texas, we can spend almost all year outdoors. After our many travels, we decided we wanted our own little ‘resort’ so we would never need to leave!
Thank you so much for joining me today. If you ever find yourself in our neck of the woods, feel free to drop in! There’s always ice tea in the fridge and the bar is stocked!
I’d love for you to see more, so please stop by Twelve Oaks Manor!

Angela- It is an absolutely beautiful home. You have done a wonderful job and I can see special memory pieces in each and every room. How wonderful to have your own “retreat” after 20 years of travel. It was worth the wait. I’ll look forward to seeing the other two rooms in the future. LOVE you backyard!!! xo Diana
Love seeing pictures of your home Angela. I really like your style and homey your place is. I bet living here is a big adjustment with the heat. It’s a great state though and I’m awfully glad to be a Texan.
What a beautiful home! Thanks for the tour, I especially love your porch and patio, we love ‘living’ outside as well. When I saw the first photo, before reading anything, I thought ‘this must be in Texas’! The live oaks and lone star are a big giveaway, lol. I was born and raised in San Antonio, and still work there (LOVE my city!), but now live an hour away in the hill country. We are very blessed to live in such a wonderful part of the country!
