CLOCHES are so much fun!
No wonder they are so popular…….
You can personalize them and change them with the seasons or holidays!
They can be in groups or by themselves.
They can be made of glass, wire, metal or wicker.
The decor you can create is only limited by one’s imagination…….
I think that’s why I love them so!!
When I heard that Marty at A Stroll Thru Life was hosting a Yip Skip Cloche Party, I thought it would be fun!
I have a few cloches around my house I thought I’d share…….
I’ve never changed this cloche since I finally figured out what to put in it! You can read my “trash to treasure” cloche story here! I added some peonies I found today at Trader Joes’s.
Love, love, love peonies!
This little guy sits on my side table.
I think he was a candle holder in his first life. When the base broke, I just turned him over and “poof”…instant cloche!
A couple reside in the master bedroom………
Very simple accessories….a “crown” napkin ring along with some vintage jewelry that belonged to my grandmothers. The gold grandchildren charm bracelet is a treasure of my grandmothers that I still wear today! Makes me feel close to her!
Who is that cute couple?
Finally, I just received these two for the backyard….
They are still a work in progress (isn’t everything?)! For now, they hold a simple herb and a candle. I love the chippiness and vintage feel of them Plus, they’re perfect for outside as they’re made of metal and if they rust a little, it just adds to their patina!
So, there you have it!
I’m heading over to Marty’s place to see all the other beautiful ideas!
Won’t you join me?
Until next time……….
Love cloches! Your previous candle holder cloche – so clever! Great idea!
Oh I love them all. Love the candles and the fabulous wire ones, but the one with your wedding picture and the crown. stunning. You really do have some fabulous cloches. Thanks tons for joining the party. This is so much fun. Hugs, Marty
GREAT cloches!!! I never had heard of a cloche til I started blogging. Noe I can’t get enough!!! Love the wire ones. XO, Pinky
Your cloches are wonderful. I love the one with the bird.
I am seeing cloches everywhere now–Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, you name it! They’re a popular item! I love what you did with yours–so beautiful! Hope you have a marvelous weekend, Angela!
