Maybe it was due to that fact that it came so early this year, but after Easter, I just felt like my bunnies, nests and eggs had been out for months!!
Enough Already!!
I was ready for a change!! So I added a few touches of Spring around the manor!
The Easter mantel turned into Spring/Summer…….
I found these lovely spring flower stems at Michael’s for 60% off….they were mine!
I followed Karianne’s directions at Thistlewood Farm to make my burlap bows! That gal is such a rock star!!!
Michael’s also had these little topiaries on sale for $2….they were mine!
I found the metal vase for my flowers in my ‘stash’ and thought it went perfectly with the metal cans of the topiaries!
Simple yet sophisticated. I’m on the hunt for something grand to replace my clock but, honestly, I love that clock there! I look at it all day long to keep up with time and when it’s replaced, I really miss it! So, it generally stays as a basic for my mantle that I work around!!
For another touch of Spring, I also picked up a couple more flower stems from Michael’s and placed them in a vase in my front foyer niche……..
A few additions to the kitchen……
I finally found a place to hang a couple of boxwood wreaths! I’m still on the lookout for “a big one”!
Just a few changes but I think we’re ready to head into summer. The outside temperatures here in Texas certainly reflect that the season is upon us!!
Until next time……….
I love adding seasonal touches. Thank you for the ideas. Great pictures!
Your Spring touches are beautiful, Angela! Your mantle is so pretty. I gave up on mine this year. Just could NOT figure it out! LOL The boxwood wreaths are so pretty! Your home looks gorgeous!

That lampshade is so pretty Angela! I love items with texture like that.
You’re putting me to shame with your mantel. Nuf said.
Stopping by from the hop. Great post!
I don’t think I could begin to tell you what would be my favorite in all these pictures. So soft and understated. I love the clock by the way. I think I will just keep revisiting this
post for inspiration and I’ll probably notice something new each time.
