Milk Crate Revival!

Milk Crate Revival!

I have had these two milk crates forever!  I don’t even remember where I got them!

Every year my dear hubby asks, “Why are we keeping these?” or, “Can I take these to Goodwill?”

Always, the answer is “NO, I’m going to use them someday!”

Needless to say,  they gathered dust, dirt, cobwebs, spiders…..YUK!

Well, last week was finally their time to shine!

I went to Lowes and purchased four sets of caster wheels……

…..and attached them to the bottom of the crates.

Now, these beautiful old milk crates have a new purpose and I love it!

I love to hoard keep old magazines to look through for inspiration.  I’ve been storing them in flimsy storage containers for years, on the highest shelf in a closet!

Insane!

I now house my magazines in these crates in my new office/guest room (which I am in the middle of re-inventing).  More to come on that whole transformation!

I love the wheels!!  They store easily under my new desk and it makes it so easy to move the crates from room to room when they are full of heavy materials!

Now I’m happy, my husband is happy and most of all, my crates are happy!  I swear my furniture talks to me!!

I know…..I have a problem! :)

Until next time………..

What a wonderful idea and it’s so cool and in style! They remind me of a miniature version of the wooden tables with wheels you seen in home decor magazines. Awesome!
