I’m becoming obsessed lately with the color lime green! It just screams “spring” and “alive” to me!
I threw some splashes of it on my front porch this spring and decided I wanted a splash in my back yard as well.
This is a bit out of the norm for me. I’m usually quite subdued…..blacks, whites, creams with red and white flowers.
But this year, I’m stepping outside my comfort zone and it makes me smile!
I have this old chair that’s been moved from room to room over the years and has finally worked her way to the back yard!
She sat there all last year…. sad, lonely, never sat on. Screaming for a makeover!
Well this is her year! I bought some lime green spray paint and with just a few quick, thin coats, she was a new woman! I swear I saw that chair smile!
I LOVE IT!
With the addition of a wire basket and some “happy” flowers, I almost felt her arms embrace her beautiful new friends.
She stands out as a beautiful new addition…stellar and proud! I catch a glimpse of her when I’m in my kitchen as I can see her through my back door. It’s like she’s waving to me!
I know…..I think I’ve got an illness!
Now I need to go find what else I can give an update to! Hope you’re having a sparkling day!!
Until next time………..
I love that fresh lime color! I have a chair that has moved from room to room, too. And like yours, it has now found its way to the back patio. I was planning to leave it white/cream. After seeing yours, I just may have to consider painting it.
Looks, gorgeous, Angela! I am also loving that color this Spring. Your chair looks beautiful!
Love it! It looks so fresh and ready for Spring! Thanks for inspiring me today!

So pretty! I love that happy color peeking at you from outside. She looks beautiful!
That looks so cheerful, and just what the doctor ordered after a long winter! I started decorating in lime green about a year ago and I really like it. Like you, it is a new color for me. Thanks for joining our hop! We are so happy to have you!
Love your chair – just found your blog – thanks for following mine! I will give you a shout out on my facebook page!
I know it would make me happy to look out my window and see this!
