Transforming my Winter Porch was simple with a little felt, burlap and pip berries!
I definitely wanted a “Valentine feel” but didn’t want to spend much to achieve it so I went to Hobby Lobby (of course) and bought some felt (4 sheets for $1) and cut out some hearts in various sizes and shapes.
I kept all my pillows the same and just added the felt hearts with a “touch” of hot glue!
I swapped out the material on my basket to match the green pillows and just laid a felt heart (I think I got it at Dollar Tree) on top!
I also changed the lamp shade back to the original black and white plaid and hot glued a couple more hearts on the shade. I used very little glue so I think removing the hearts will be easy!
The red berry sprigs used during Christmas will work just as nicely for {heart} day!
Buying my sandwich board was one of the best purchases ever!
Here I added a lovely sentiment….
I tied some berry stems purchased at Dollar Tree together with a red burlap ribbon and tied it to the sandwich board. Just enough color and it coordinates nicely with the heart wreaths on the door!
I simply adore pip berries in any color! I’ve attached a white garland to a grapevine heart wreath which I have spray painted white. Adding a simple tied burlap ribbon to each brings the eye towards the red and ties everything together!
Happy Valentine Season!!
With love,
It all looks wonderful Angela! Adding the red felt hearts really made things pop. I have a similar chalkboard that I bought at T.J. Maxx out on my porch. Don’t you just love it?
hugs,
Jann
