Happy Day Everyone!!!!!
Remember my “splash of color” bright green chair I painted for my back yard that smiled at me when I painted her and gave her new flower friends to hold?
Well, I decided she needed some friends!
I’ve had this old pair of rubber boots in the garage that my hubby wanted to throw out (again, I said NO….I’m gonna use those for ‘something’)!
So, I asked hubster to drill some holes in the bottom of the boots so they could drain.
With my leftover “citrus green” Krylon spray paint, I gave them a quick coat……
and they, too, came to life!
I placed some heavy rocks in the toes and up the shaft to take up space and to weigh them down because we can get some heavy winds in Texas!
They turned out just as I envisioned them! It’s such a bright, sunny spot in the garden that just makes you smile and feel happy!!
I think my chair is happy! Hope it brightens your day, too!!!

These are so cute! I never would have thought to use boots in this way! (I also didn’t know you could spray paint them–genius!) I don’t do much with plants because I have a black thumb, but I might give it a try for this! Have a great week, Angela!

I have some red boots I bought specifically for this…..they have a kids name on the tho…. maybe I will paint them,didn’t know you could do that. I LOVE the citrus green!
