I know, I know…..it’s not even Thanksgiving yet but for me, the season begins early in November (the day after Halloween!). That way, I can take my time and really enjoy the magic of the season!
I begin November 1st
with my tree!
It gets set up and we enjoy it with only its lights for about a week. I just love the glow it gives the room, and…
It just gets me in the mood!
Then I work on the mantel

When the next weekend rolls around, we decorate the tree!
In the spirit of “keeping things real”, one of the light strands went out near the top! Why does it never go out at the bottom?? I shall be fixing that straight away!
Of course, one thing leads to another and I added some more “bling” to the top!
Had to share one of my most precious ornaments….a hand painted baby on an EGG!
I’ve had this egg for over 20 years and even with all the military moves, this little egg is still in tact! I call that a miracle!
Just a little more “Christmasness“!
I’m finishing up the game room and bedrooms so there’s more “Christmasness” to come!!

Hi Angela. I’m working on mine too. I just started on Saturday. Planning to put a little touch or two in every bedroom because we’ll be having lots of company. The tree is in the main hallway which sounds odd but it works with this floor plan. Your tree is so pretty! Love those teardrop ornaments and did you notice the pretty reflection on the wood floor?
