Living in South Texas, we only use our fireplace about 1 week out of the year (just kidding!!)! However, we do use it rather sparingly!! I think we’re all ready for spring by now regardless of where you live! The temperatures in South Texas have been warm and pleasant (which we will pay for come summer since we haven’t had a “hard” freeze…..bugs will be bad!!!). The nurseries have flowers out and the birds have returned! I’m refraining from planting blooms just yet in hopes we may get one last cold night but I think it’s just wishful thinking…..

Our master bedroom underwent a “facelift” this past summer. Now…..you all have to try to vision the old room……Pepto Bismol pink!!! I kid you not!!!! That’s the color it was when we moved in and I tried to soften it by applying a white wash over the top. Honestly, it was not bad then and we actually lived with it for 8 years (yes, my dear hubby is a SAINT!)

I spent the afternoon outside today……. …….it’s beautiful here, 85 degrees and NO humidity!! As I looked around, I noticed Mother Nature beginning her ‘magic’ and thought I’d share some of it with you!
