Because today I decided to change it!
***sigh***
It’s still a work in progress!
I don’t know why I always seem to get a “block” when it comes to that stupid mantel!!!!
But I’m determined to figure it out……..
………..and be able to enjoy two Spring Mantels!!

Ahh. I thought this was you!! For you have truly truly beautiful things. Like your clock. The big one! What a beautiful reminder that the days are passing and now it is spring. Your other clock is also unique. I’ve never seen such carved clocks. I wish it were a bit closer to the other clock with just little else. I think the light looks really unique. Is it? I used fancy candle sticks and new taper candles and then on the other side, do you have a traditional vase? To say I’m important too but not as grand as these clocks which are heralding in spring!!! I love BLOOM too. I’m not sure if I’m doing such a superb job of blooming right now. And your flowers are fabulous!!! Isn’t spring pretty? My lilacs are about done. I’ve never learned how to keep them in a vase but at least I get three days of enjoyment. It’s to be 90 tomorrow!!!!! My blooms will wilt!!!

Hummm, looks really wonderful to me. So sparkly clean and white and bright. Want to trade for my light brick fireplace and blonde mantel with a HUGE mirror and that has yet to be scrubbed from this last winter? I didn’t think so….. lol. I too love the clocks and the flowers and well everything. Then I have to worry about a kitty kat knocking stuff to the cement flooring that I have yet done anything about….. sigh.

My iPad is acting up and when I first saw your post it ended at ‘because today I decided to change it’ and I thought, she wasn’t kidding,this WAS short! lol
Keep on keep in’ on with that lovely mantel of yours! Think of it this way, it keeps you out of trouble and on your toes ;).

You are like me. I think it is just a Spring thing. I can’t seem to get it right. I think your mantel looks perfect and just the right touch.
