As you know, we are preparing our backyard for a “post wedding” party for my son and future daughter-in-law.
One day we were at brunch and the lounge had a giant Jenga game on the patio and everyone was having a super time!
My hubby and I looked at that, looked at each other, and said “we can make that“!!!
So…….
……..we did!
…….with the help of our son, Nathan!
This is so super-duper, crazy easy and inexpensive, but packs such an incredible “fun” punch!
Nathan and Mike (my hubby) bought eight 2x4x8’s for a grand total of $21!!!
We had the saw and electric sander.
Nathan measured each game piece at 10.5 inches long (we will need 72 pieces).
He cut…….I sanded…..then he sanded some more!
That’s all there is to it!!!!
EASY PEASY!!!
Mike and I played a game that night and it was so much fun! It will be fantastic for the party and keep people entertained.
Right now we have it setting on our outdoor coffee table but I’m keeping my eye out for a round table (so people don’t run the risk of hitting the corners).
We had so much fun building this and I know we will have tons of fun enjoying it!!
Until next time………..

I played this once with our grandson and quickly figured out I wasn’t very good at it! Love the picture of Nathan with the beer. He looks like he’s thinking ‘another fine mess you’ve gotten us into mom’ ;).
Well that just looks like a blast!
Angela,
What a fun idea! This would be perfect for our back porch! Thanks for inspiring me today!
Happy day!
