It’s almost February!
Can you believe it!
I decided a new valentines craft was in order……..
A POM POM HEART!!
You’re seeing pom-pom wreaths all over blog land…..
……and I decided to make my spin on it for Valentine’s Day!!
I bought two skeins of yarn…..one in cream and one in oatmeal. I proceeded to make pom-poms (like I used to make in my teens! Amazing how it comes back to ya….like riding a bicycle!)
I had a leftover styrofoam heart wreath and began attaching the pom-poms to the heart with my trusty glue gun alternating colors!
I continued to fill it in until it was all covered!
I added a burlap bow to be able to hang it on the wall!
I hung it in my bedroom in coordination with a saying I have on my wall….
It’s a fun touch for Valentine’s Day or anytime without using the traditional red or pink colors!
I LOVE IT!!
If you live where the weather is wicked, I hope you stay warm and safe!
Friday, it was 38 for a high here……yesterday…..60′s…..today…..71….Monday…..46!
