Ok guys! Remember my kitchen cupboard dilemma? For those of you who are new to me, you can see my original post HERE.
Well, I did it! I painted the inside of my cabinets BLACK!!
I absolutely love it!
I’ve gotten lots of advice and inquiries like “oh no, you’ll have to keep that clean and organized,” ………..
………….or “it’s gonna get dirty fast since it’s right by the stove.”
Well, I’ve had it this way for about 3 weeks now and so far, so good! It actually makes putting dishes away….FUN! (If that can ever truly be!)
It seems much easier and faster now. Best of all, it forced me to clean out and purge items I have been holding onto because “I may use that someday….” and I haven’t used it in 5 years! I got rid of everything that wasn’t white or glass!
Since it’s just my dear hubby and me left in the nest, it’s much easier to achieve this and it’s not hard to keep organized.
I decided to leave the cabinet wood as is and not paint the outside (I know…scaredy cat!). I kept my doors and all the hardware in case I do get tired of it and want to put them back on or, if we should ever decide to sell this house.
So let’s see the before and after, OK??
Before………
During………
And after………….
Tell me what you think! Good, bad and the ugly!!! I love to hear suggestions! After all, that’s what we’re all here for, right??!!
I guess it’s time to go make dinner. Oh heck, I think we’ll go out!!
Until next time………..

Wednesdays are the best day for me if that works for you and nothing else comes up. I will email you by the end of this week and we can set something up. Hugs!
