In the good ole’ summertime……..
in the good ole’ summertime…….
I don’t know how the weather is where you are, but….
IT IS HOT HERE!!!
Oh well…….that’s summertime in Texas, y’all!!
So, I fixed a glass of tea and “tweaked” my front porch for summer!
I added a couple new pillow covers to the wicker swing…
…..and made a couple of my own….
I also made a couple of pillows for the rockers….
With some leftover fabric, I covered an old lamp shade….
The shade was a little small to put the magnetic flower on it, so I just moved it down onto the shaft of the lamp!
I brought my “neon” green wreaths back out, “tweaking” them a little by adding some herringbone ribbon.
I just LOVE herringbone…..it’s classic….never goes out of style!!
I added a little green burlap….
gotta have a burlap touch, right??!!
Last, I picked up a couple faux greenery orbs at Hobby Lobby and placed them in my orbs! You can see my “orb” experience HERE!!
I’d love to have you stop by!
I’ll be sittin’ on the porch, sipping tea, rockin and watchin the world go by!
Until next time……..

Oh Angela… I am dying laughing ( just read your orb experience… hahahahha) Now, I have gathered myself.. I think ( giggle) , and I luv the colour scheme for your porch. I can see myself swinging and sipping a tall glass of sweet tea. Oh yes, it is hot in North Central Florida as well. But yeah… summer what are we going to do right?
Enjoy your porch!
Hugs, Gee
I am loving black and white these days and the addition of the lime green to it is wonderful! I’d like to sit right on your porch…but I think I’ve said that before!!
I will be right over…. I like sweet tea with a twist of lemon

You have a great sense of style, Angela! I love the black with the bright green, classic! And you can sew on top of all your other talents…love the pillows and the lamp is so cute! I’d love to sit out here with you and have some iced tea, but on a cooler day!
