OK…..I admit it!!! The spring bug has bitten me, too!!!
I love looking at the beautiful spring mantels that are showing up on all the blogs. So much talent and beautiful colors!
As you all know, I tend to be a little more subdued, so here is my spin on spring for my mantel! I’m in love with mercury glass…..
….. and topiaries
so I incorporated those elements onto my mantel along with some silver and gold eggs
with a nest thrown in for good measure!
Which brought me to this…..
I’m happy with it but feel something’s missing. A banner, maybe? Some burlap?
What do you think?
Watch for an update!!! I have a couple preserved boxwood wreaths ordered, and I’m going to try my hand at making my first banner (fingers crossed)!!
I’m off to do a little more “spring” decorating!
