Spring Mantel

OK…..I admit it!!!  The spring bug has bitten me, too!!!

I love looking at the beautiful spring mantels that are showing up on all the blogs.  So much talent and beautiful colors!

As you all know, I tend to be a little more subdued, so here is my spin on spring for my mantel!  I’m in love with mercury glass…..

so I incorporated those elements onto my mantel along with some silver and gold eggs

with a nest thrown in for good measure!

I’m happy with it but feel something’s missing.  A banner, maybe?   Some burlap?

What do you think?

Watch for an update!!!  I have a couple preserved boxwood wreaths ordered, and I’m going to try my hand at making my first banner (fingers crossed)!!

I’m off to do a little more “spring” decorating!

    Angela, your mantle is beautiful! I am looking right how for two medium size topiaries to finish mine. You did an amazing job with yours!

      Thanks, Maria! Found my topiaries at Tuesday Morning on Blanco! Good luck! They seem hard to find this year! Maybe we need to make our own!! LOL!!
